What does a 90-second episode cost?

Video 90 s × 10 credits (cheapest tier) + compositing 90 + storyboard ≈ 8 → about 998 credits. In money: credits start at $0.006 each (yearly membership or the larger packs, lower during promotions), so an episode is from about $6; even on the smallest pack at list price ($0.015 per credit) it stays under $15, before regenerations.

Do membership credits expire?

Monthly membership credits are added to your balance and spend like purchased credits; cancelling stops renewal at the end of the paid period.
