SceneMixer ("we", "us", the "Platform", at scenemixer.com) is an AI-powered storyboard and video generation service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use, store and share it, and your choices. Contact: support@scenemixer.com.
01Information We Collect
- Account: email, nickname, password (stored only as a salted hash — never plaintext).
- Google Sign-In data: name, email and profile picture from Google (see Section 02).
- Usage: prompts and scripts you submit, generation records, model invoked, timestamps, IP, device identifiers.
- Payments: processed by third-party processors (e.g. Stripe). We receive only order status and a payment reference — we never receive or store your card number.
- Uploads: images, video and audio you provide as generation references.
- Ad click data: if you reach us by clicking one of our ads, the click identifier the ad platform adds to the link (for example Google's gclid) and the campaign parameters in that link.
- Cookies and logs: see Section 08.
02Google User Data
- What we access: with "Sign in with Google" we request only your basic profile — name, email, profile picture. We never request Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service data.
- How we use it: solely to create your account, sign you in, and show your name/avatar in the product. Never for advertising or profiling.
- How we store it: email, Google account ID and avatar URL are stored encrypted in transit (TLS) and protected at rest with access controls.
- How we share it: we do not sell Google user data and do not share it except with infrastructure processors under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
- Revoking: revoke access anytime in your Google Account security settings; deleting your account removes the associated Google data per Section 05.
- SceneMixer's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
03How We Use Information
- Providing the service: parsing scripts, generating images/video/audio, storing your projects.
- Processing content through third-party AI model providers — your prompts and reference material are sent to the model provider for a task solely to fulfil your request.
- Billing, credit accounting and fraud prevention.
- Security, abuse prevention and legal compliance.
- Aggregate, non-identifying analytics (e.g. country-level visits).
- Measuring our own advertising: telling the ad platform whose ad you clicked that the click led to a sign-up or purchase (see Section 04).
04Sharing
- Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) — to process payments.
- AI model providers — receive request content to produce your result.
- Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, delivery.
- Advertising platforms (currently Google Ads, Reddit, Microsoft Advertising and OpenAI's ChatGPT ads) — only to the platform whose ad you clicked, and only if you arrived that way: the click identifier, the event (sign-up, first purchase or membership start), when it happened and, for purchases, the amount and currency. Some platforms also require our website's address. We do not send your name, email address or phone number. Each platform processes this data under its own privacy policy (Google, Reddit, Microsoft, OpenAI).
- Law enforcement — where required by law.
- We do not sell personal information. Ever.
05Retention & Deletion
- Account data: life of the account + up to 6 months after deletion (security and disputes).
- Uploaded reference material: 30 days by default, unless kept in an active project.
- Request deletion anytime via email; verified requests honoured within 30 days unless retention is legally required.
06Security
TLS everywhere; passwords stored as salted hashes; secrets encrypted at rest; production access restricted and audited.
07Your Rights
Subject to applicable law you may access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing — contact support@scenemixer.com.
08Cookies
- Essential: sign-in and security (cannot be disabled).
- Functional: language and theme preference.
- Analytics: aggregate statistics.
- Marketing: personalised recommendations (off by default).
- Ad attribution: the click identifier from our ad, kept until you sign up and then used as described in Section 04.
09Children
The service is not directed at children; inappropriate content involving minors is prohibited and reported to the relevant authorities.
10International Transfers & Changes
Servers are located in Singapore; data may be processed there and in our infrastructure providers' regions under the safeguards above. Policy changes are posted here with an updated date; material changes are announced in-product.
