AI Drama: Choose the Size of Your Season First

Four sizes
| Size | Episodes | Script | What you commit to first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot | 1 | AI Create Brief (one or two short episodes), or your own pages | Everything: read, sheets, one storyboard, a few segments. The whole path for the least money |
| Mini-season | 3 to 6 | AI Create Short (a handful of episodes) | Episodes 1 and 2 only. Read the others as scripts, make them later |
| Season | About 10 | AI Create Medium (a short season), or a longer script of your own | Episodes 1 to 3. The cast has to hold up before you pay for seven more |
| Long run | Up to 50 in one project | AI Create Long (a full series), or a novel read in two passes | Episodes 1 to 3, then add the rest in batches as the story is written |
The AI Create menu names its lengths after what they give, and the read decides the split: a longer script makes more episodes, not longer ones. Choosing the script length has the prices.
What does not change with size
Whatever the size, each episode is made the same way and is small. A Short Drama episode stops at 240 seconds, a TV Series episode at 300 seconds and a Film has no cap. An episode is up to 60 segments, each of 15 seconds or 30 on the long-take tiers. The ten English samples run from about one and three-quarter minutes to three and a half, with four to nine characters in one to three places, and that is a comfortable size for one person to finish. Short Drama, TV Series or Film sets the cap and the cut.
What scales is the number of times you repeat it. A 60 second episode on the default tier costs 660 credits for video and joining, about $4.11 at the lowest credit price, so ten of them cost ten times that before any retakes. The cast, the places and the voices are made once and reused. How much a micro drama costs has the worked sum.
The first episode is the test
Whatever size you plan, make the first episode before you commit to the second. In a drama the first episode tells you three things a script cannot: whether the cast looks like the same people from shot to shot, whether the voices suit them, and whether the pace works at the length you chose. The first project’s episode 1 storyboard is free, the first 15 setup images on an account are free, and the free preview shows one shot with your cast before you pay for any video. What you get for free.
A sensible order is: read the whole script, check the summary, make the cast sheets, storyboard episode 1, preview, shoot episode 1 as drafts on the cheapest tier, fix single shots, then join. If episode 1 holds, repeat for episodes 2 and 3 before touching the rest. Checklist before you generate videos lists what to check.
Growing a drama after the first read
A season does not have to exist as a script on day one. The Add an episode card at the bottom of step 3 takes more pages, pasted or uploaded, and only the new pages are read and charged. Let AI continue writes one to three episodes from where the story stands. AI story continuer says what it reads. Anything that first appears in the new pages is added to step 2 with the price shown.
A project holds up to 50 episodes, the same ceiling the first reading uses. When you get there, the next part is its own project: write it, start a new project with the same visual, scene and costume styles, and in step 2 use Pick existing on each returning character. The whole entry comes across: name, images, description, voice and outfit states, with no charge. Reuse a character, scene or voice across projects.
What fixes at the start, what can change
| Decision | When it is fixed | How to change it later |
|---|---|---|
| Type: Short Drama, TV Series or Film | When the script is read | New project with the same script |
| Visual style | When you continue past step 1 | New project |
| Dialogue language | When the script is read | New project, or a second-language version (guide) |
| Aspect ratio | Step 1 | Set it before the shots; it is the shape of every one |
| Quality tier | Per segment | Any time. A new generation on a new tier replaces nothing: it adds a version |
| Episode order and count | The reading | Add episodes at the end; delete or insert segments inside an episode |
The practical rule: decide the type, the look and the language before you press the button that reads the script. Everything else is cheap to change.
Where to begin
If you have a story but no script, start with a pilot from one line and read it. If you have a script of several episodes, read it whole and make the first one. If you have only a premise, the one-line brief is worth ten minutes: Writing the one-line brief. The rest of the series follows one step at a time in How to make an AI short drama, and the generator itself is described at AI drama generator.
FAQ
What is an AI drama?
A serialised story whose cast, places and footage are generated from a script. Each episode is a run of short clips joined into a video, with the same characters throughout.
How long is an AI drama episode?
As long as the type allows: up to 240 seconds for Short Drama and 300 for TV Series, with no cap for a Film. The samples on this site run between about one and three-quarter minutes and three and a half.
How many episodes can I make?
A project holds up to 50 episodes. For more, start a new project for part two and bring the cast with Pick existing.
How many episodes should I make first?
One, then two or three before you commit to the rest. The first tells you whether the cast and the pace work.
Do I need a finished script?
No. You can give AI Create a line and read the draft, or start with a pilot and add episodes later.
Does the cast stay the same across episodes?
Yes. The cast is made once and every episode uses the same pictures, descriptions and voices.
Can I change an episode’s type later?
No. The type is fixed when the script is read, because the episode breaks were cut for it. Start a new project with the same script to use another type.
What does an AI drama cost?
It is charged by the stage: a read by script length, pictures, a storyboard per episode and video by the second. The price is shown on each button, and the first episode has free allowances.
Decide the size, then make episode one
The first episode’s storyboard and the first setup images are free, so the test costs little.
