A Checklist Before You Generate the Videos

Quick answer: Fixing text costs nothing; regenerating video costs every time. Before you generate an episode, run down this list: every character on screen has a sheet you like; their names are @ pills in the shots where they appear; spoken lines have enough seconds; costume changes use a state; the Props line lists only what the shots show; busy places have a background-people line; dialogue is in the project’s dialogue language; and you are on the tier you mean to pay for. Then generate one segment, watch it, and only then press Generate all.

1. The sheets

Open step 2 and look at every character, scene and prop the episode uses. A face or costume you do not like will be in every shot; fix it now. Regenerate one sheet · Use your own photo.

2. Names linked where people are on screen

In each shot, the characters on screen should be @ pills, and people who are only talked about should not be. If you edited a segment, the editor asks before generating when some shots have no linked characters. Shots with no linked characters.

3. Seconds

Each spoken line needs time to be said; a shot that is too short rushes or cuts the line. The segment total must stay under the episode’s ceiling and the tier’s cap. Shot seconds and timing.

4. States, props and the room

5. Language and wording

Dialogue should be in the project’s dialogue language; the editor asks if a segment’s lines do not look like it. Describe what is in the frame rather than what is not. Dialogue not in the project language · Say what is there.

6. Tier and balance

Check the model in the editor’s top bar: a low tier for drafts, a higher one for finals. The price on each card and the total on Generate all are what you will pay; make sure the balance covers it. Draft low, finish high · Generate all with a low balance.

7. One segment first

Use your free preview if you still have it, then generate one segment and watch it with sound. If the faces, the room and the voices are right, generate the rest. The free preview · Generate all.

FAQ

Why not just generate and fix afterwards?

Every regeneration is charged. Most problems are visible in the text and free to fix before generating.

Do I need to check every segment?

Check the first one closely; for the rest, look at names, seconds and states quickly. Problems tend to repeat.

What if the test segment is wrong?

Fix the cause in the text or the sheet, regenerate that one segment, and compare. See when a shot comes out wrong.

Check the text, then spend

Five minutes with the storyboard saves regenerations later.
