Choosing the Script Length and Cost

Quick answer: Under Length on the AI Create tab: Mini (1k chars), Brief (2.5k), Short (5k), Medium (10k) and Long (20k). Each option in the menu shows its own price, and the Start Writing button shows the one you picked. A short script gives a few episodes; a long one gives many — the read decides the split. Options that would be too long to read afterwards are hidden. For English and other alphabetic languages the same length is more characters, and the price already accounts for it.

The one-line brief matters more than the length; write that first.

The five options

Mini, 1,000 characters: one scene, a test. Brief, 2,500: a single short episode or two. Short, 5,000: a handful of episodes, the usual first choice. Medium, 10,000: a short season. Long, 20,000: a full series. The count is the script’s length in characters; the read then splits it into episodes of a minute or two each, so more characters mean more episodes rather than longer ones.

A longer script splits into more episodes; the read decides how many.

Where the price is

Open the Length menu: every option carries a ✦ price. Pick one and the Start Writing button shows it. The writing is charged when the script is delivered; a writing that fails is refunded. The read that follows is priced separately, by the script’s length, and is shown on Start Creating in the result window. Where credits go.

Why an option is missing

The read has a maximum length. Options whose script would not fit are hidden from the menu rather than sold and then refused. In alphabetic languages the same story takes more characters, so the top option can disappear in English while it shows in Chinese.

How English counts

The lengths are in characters, but an English script says less per character than a Chinese one. The writing targets the equivalent amount of story, and the price uses the same rule the read does: 3,333 characters of an alphabetic language count as 1,000. Japanese and Korean count like Chinese. Which to pick

First time: Short. It is enough episodes to see the whole path — read, sheets, storyboard, video — without a long read. If the draft is right, write the Long version with the same brief and a request for more episodes. A brief that already names ten episodes needs Medium or Long to hold them.

FAQ

Where do I see the price?

On each option in the Length menu, and on the Start Writing button once you pick one.

Does a longer script make longer episodes?

No. It makes more episodes; the read splits by story, and each episode stays a minute or two.

Why is Long missing from the menu?

It would be too long to read afterwards in your language, so it is not offered.

Is the writing charged if it fails?

No. Only a delivered script is charged.

Is the read included?

No. The read is priced separately by length and shown on Start Creating.

Start with Short
