The site default, Wan 3.0 · 480P, is the other 480P long-take tier; this page is the Seedance 2.5 side.
Two places, one setting. In the episode editor: the button in the top bar that shows the current tier’s name, next to Composite. In Settings: Model Preferences → Video Model. Both change the same thing — the tier your next segments render on, in this project and in new ones. Segments already made keep the tier they were made with, and each version records it. The price on a segment’s generate button always shows the tier you are about to use.
Length: up to 30 seconds in one generation (15 seconds when the episode’s storyboard was generated with 15-second segments). Resolution: 480P in the project’s aspect ratio. Sound: lines and ambient sound are generated with the picture, each character in their own voice. Shots: a segment can hold several shots; the storyboard sets the cuts.
Per generation, shared by all three Seedance 2.5 tiers:
19 credits per second. In the same family, Lite is 38 and Pro is 75 per second. Against the site default, Wan 3.0 · 480P is 10 per second. Pick this tier when you want to stay inside the Seedance 2.5 family for the segments you will later finish on Pro. Credits are taken on delivery only.
Drafting inside the family: blocking a 30-second take, hearing the lines, confirming who is in frame and where the cuts fall, before spending Lite or Pro rates. Because the three tiers share inputs and rules, nothing you learn here has to be redone on the way up.
At 480P, fine detail is soft by design; judge blocking, timing and dialogue here, judge texture on Pro.
Text and references are checked before rendering. A rejection is not charged: the credits come back and the credit history says so. The count is kept per account: after 12 rejections within 24 hours, the next one is held for review instead of refunded, and video generation pauses for 1 hour. So edit the flagged material rather than retrying the same segment. Content rules and checks explains what gets flagged.
The messages you may meet on this tier:
| What you see | Usual cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “Invalid input — check the reference images and duration, then retry.” | Usually one of the reference files for this segment could not be read | Generate again once; if it keeps failing, check that the character, location and prop images open, then contact support |
| “Blocked by content safety rules — edit the script or description and retry.” | The script or a reference tripped the content check | Edit the flagged part; see the content-check section for when a rejection is refunded |
| “The generation service hit a temporary problem. You weren’t charged — feel free to try again.” | The service was saturated; the site already tried again once for you | Wait a few minutes and generate again; nothing was deducted |
| Video generation paused | More than 12 rejected generations within 24 hours; the next one is held for review | Wait out the pause (1 hour); fix the material before retrying |
Up to Lite (720P) for a segment you will share; up to Pro (1080P) for the version you publish. Across to Wan 3.0 · 480P if you only need a cheaper 480P draft and do not care which family finishes it. Each segment remembers its tier; mixing is normal.
| Reference type | Limit on this tier | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Images | Up to 10 | Character sheets, location and prop images, states, your own uploads |
| Voice clips | Up to 5, about 14 s in total | Character voices; a clip that does not fit is left out and that character speaks from the written voice description |
No. It is the 480P entry of the Seedance 2.5 family, priced and labelled separately from the site default, Wan 3.0 · 480P. Both render 30-second segments with sound.
Yes. The three Seedance 2.5 tiers share references, voices and segment length; only the tier changes.
Up to 30 seconds when the episode’s storyboard was generated with 30-second segments, 15 when it uses 15-second segments. The length is chosen when you generate the storyboard.
Normally no: a rejection returns the credits and shows in your history. The content-check section above explains the daily limit on refunded rejections.
Yes. Dialogue and ambient sound come out of the same generation as the picture.
Generate a segment on the 480P entry tier, then finish the keepers on Lite or Pro.
