AI Video Generator Tool: Every Screen From Idea to File

Try it: type a few lines into the script box on the home page and watch the price on the button follow the length. If a sign-in window appears when you press the button, what you typed stays in the box.
What you need to open it
An account, with no password. Press Sign In and choose Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Continue with email: type the address, press Send code, type the six digits. A new address gets an account on the spot. Pressing any button that needs an account opens the same window over the page. Signing up and logging in.
A browser, and nothing to install. A few jobs are done by the browser before anything is sent. A Word file is unpacked to plain text in your browser. A picture in WebP, HEIC, PNG or JPEG is converted to JPEG in your browser. Files the browser itself cannot open, such as SVG, camera RAW or HEIC outside Safari, are refused the moment you pick them, not three steps later.
A phone works. It is the same account and the same projects. The episode editor stacks into three views (preview, timeline, storyboard text), and the model picker and the AI badge switch sit in a bottom sheet. Pasting a long script and editing storyboard text at length are easier with a keyboard. Using the site on a phone.
The nine screens, in the order you meet them
| # | Screen | What you do there | Price, or what locks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Home | Pick one of four tabs (Upload Script, AI Create, Ad Video, Remake a video) and paste, write or upload | The price of the first step is on the button and follows what you type |
| 2 | Step 1: Set Up Your Project | Name it; pick Visual Style, Scene Style and Costume Style (or let AI choose); 16:9 or 9:16; target region and dialogue language | Visual style and aspect ratio are locked once you continue |
| 3 | Reading the script | Watch the stages: finding characters, scenes and props, splitting episodes, shaping the visual style, preparing episodes. Leave if you like | Charged by length, refunded if the read fails |
| 4 | Script Parsed | Read the summary: title, protagonist, era, how it was adapted, the episode list and the counts | If the split is wrong, fix the text and read again |
| 5 | Step 2: the cast | Characters, scenes and items, each with a description and a picture; edit a description, replace a picture | The first 15 pictures on an account are free |
| 6 | Step 3: the episodes | One card per episode; Parse Storyboard; choose Segment length 15s or Long take 30s | Episode 1 of your first drama is free; the length applies to the next parse |
| 7 | The editor | Three columns over a timeline: assets on the left, storyboard in the middle, preview on the right. Read it as Shots or as Text; edit; use AI edit | Editing text is always free |
| 8 | Generate | Pick a tier in the top bar and press the black button with the price on it, or Generate all | 10 credits a second on the default tier, per segment, held then spent |
| 9 | Join, download, share | Join the segments into one episode; Download the full-quality file; Share a link | Joining is 1 credit a second; a shared link always carries the badge |
The phrases in italics are the button and tab names as they appear on the site. Your first five minutes is the home page in detail, and the episode editor, a tour goes through screen 7.
Three places where something locks or costs money
Step 1, when you press Next. The visual style shapes every picture and video, so it cannot be changed after you continue; the aspect ratio is fixed too. If you are unsure, open a sample project in the style you are considering first: each sample is labelled with its style, so you can see what it does before you commit. Choosing visual style settings.
Parse Storyboard. Billed by the length of that episode’s text, and the same price the second time. Regenerating a storyboard also discards the finished video in that episode, so edit the text instead. Regenerating a storyboard: what you lose.
Generate all. The dialog states the plan before you commit: how many segments, their total seconds, the model, which segments already have a clip and stay as they are, and any that are longer than the model allows. Each segment is charged on its own and refunded if it fails. Generate all.
The side screens
- Assets (sidebar): everything you made or uploaded, across projects, in six tabs: Characters, Scenes, Items, Videos, Novels, Other. Everything can be downloaded. Uploading an image there is a paid-plan feature and counts against your storage; generated files never do. The asset library.
- Credits (click your balance): Available, Frozen, Credit History and Buy Credits. Each task is one line in the history.
- Projects: cards that say Step 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3. Click one to resume where you stopped.
- Settings (the gear): including Model Preferences for the text and image tiers, and the replay of the quick tour.
- Ask (the question mark): answers questions about the site from its guides; feedback is sent from inside it.
What keeps running without you
Generations run on the server. Close the tab, close the laptop, or start something on the phone and check on the desktop: the clip lands in the account either way. While anything in an episode is generating, the browser tab’s title gains a prefix such as (3/12) generating, and on a desktop browser the site can ask once for permission to send a notification when a segment finishes. Segments beyond your plan’s simultaneous limit show as Queued, hold their credits, and start by themselves. Progress bar stuck, page closed: does generation continue?.
What this tool is not
- Not an editing suite. The editor changes one clip at a time: trim, change a detail of the picture, redub the talking, enhance. Titles and captions are added in your own editing software after you download.
- Not a team workspace. A project belongs to one account. Reviewers watch through share links without an account; they cannot edit. Using SceneMixer as a team.
- Not metered in secret. Every button that spends credits shows its price first, and editing text and switching between takes you already have are free.
Make it in SceneMixer, start to finish
- Script: paste your own on Upload Script, or write a one-line brief in AI Create and let it draft the episodes.
- Step 1: Type Short Drama; Scene Style Corporate Cold; Costume Style Power Tailoring; Visual Style Filmic Live-Action; Target Region; dialogue language; 16:9 Landscape. Then read the script.
- Step 2: the two rivals with a description each, then the boardroom and the corridor as locations; the signed contract as a prop. The first 15 setup images on an account are free.
- Storyboard: generate episode 1 first (free on your first drama) and read it before you render anything. One place per segment.
- Video: render on the default tier at 10 credits a second, fix single shots instead of whole episodes, then put the episode together and post.
| Where | Locked after you continue? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Visual style (step 1) | Yes | It shapes every sheet and every video |
| Aspect ratio (step 1) | Yes | Every segment and the join are cut to one shape |
| Names, descriptions, pictures (step 2) | No | Editing them is free, regenerating a picture is priced |
| Storyboard text (editor) | No | Editing is free; regenerating the whole storyboard discards finished video |
| Tier (editor top bar) | No | Chosen per segment, so you can draft cheap and finish high |
FAQ
Do I need to install anything to use the AI video generator?
No. It runs in a web browser, on a computer or a phone. The generation itself happens on servers.
Do I need a password?
No. You sign in with Google, with Apple, or with a six-digit code sent to your email; a new address gets an account automatically.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, with the same account and projects. The editor stacks into preview, timeline and text views; long scripts and long edits are easier on a desktop.
What if I close the browser while a video is generating?
Nothing is lost. Generations run on the server, and the finished clip is in your account when you come back.
Where do I see the price before I pay?
On the button. Each button that spends credits shows its price, and the price on the button is the price charged.
Which choices can I not change later?
The visual style and the aspect ratio, once you continue past step 1. Everything else, including the cast and the storyboard text, can be edited.
Can my team work in the same project?
No. A project belongs to one account. Share links let reviewers watch without signing in.
Can I add titles and captions inside the tool?
Add them in your own editing software after downloading. The built-in editor trims, changes picture details, redubs and enhances one clip at a time.
Open it and type a few lines
The price on the button follows what you type; nothing is spent until you press it.
