Signing Up and Logging In

Quick answer: There is no password. Press Sign In / Register at the top right, or any button that needs an account, and the sign-in window opens. Continue with Google signs you in with one tap. Or Continue with email: type the address, Send code, type the 6-digit code from the email, Continue. A new address gets an account on the spot; an existing one is signed in. By continuing you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Every new account starts with 50 credits and the free first-drama allowance.

What you get for free is what the new account already has.

Google

Continue with Google opens Google’s own window; pick the account and you are back, signed in. The first time creates your SceneMixer account with that address. If Google reports the address is already registered with a password from the old sign-up, use the email route instead; Google is not linked to an existing account by itself, but you can link it later in Settings.

Email code

Continue with email. Type the address, Send code. The message says We sent a code to … check your inbox (and the spam folder). Type the six digits and Continue. Resend is available after a short countdown; Change email goes back. New addresses get an account automatically; there is no separate registration form and nothing to remember.

The window that appears mid-task

Pressing a button that needs an account — Get Started, generate, buy — opens the same sign-in window over the page with Sign in to start creating. What you typed in the script box stays there; sign in and press the button again. The pages at /login and /register are the same form on a full page.

Link Google later

Settings → Google Account → Link. From then on either route reaches the same account. A Google account already linked elsewhere cannot be linked twice; the message says so.

Log out, and where you land next time

Click your avatar at the top right, then Log out. Next time, sign in the same way and your projects are where you left them — each card reopens at the step you were on. Project cards.

The SceneMixer episode editor: asset library on the left, the storyboard in the middle, the video preview on the right, and every segment along the bottom timeline
The workspace: credits and your avatar at the top right, the tools down the left.

If the code does not arrive

Check spam; wait for the countdown and Resend; check the address for a typo with Change email. Some company mail servers hold automated mail for minutes. If nothing arrives, sign in with Google, or write to support from the address you tried.
