AI Movie From a Prompt

Quick answer: Type one line into AI Create and SceneMixer drafts the rest: a script, a cast, the places and a numbered storyboard, all as plain text you can read and rewrite before anything is rendered. That is the difference between a movie from a prompt and a clip from a prompt: the prompt starts a project that has characters, sets and episodes, and the video is generated shot by shot from them. Reading the draft and editing it are free; video costs 10 credits a second on the default tier.

Prompts that make better movies

  • Name a person and a want. “A night-shift nurse who needs to find a missing patient before dawn” beats “a hospital thriller”.
  • Give it one place. A single setting drawn once is steadier and cheaper than five.
  • Say how it ends, or how it should feel. The draft otherwise decides for you.
  • Say the length. A 2-minute short and a 20-minute film get different structures.

Try: A two-minute short: a widowed lighthouse keeper receives a radio call in her late husband's voice; one room, one storm, one line at the end.

From the draft to a movie

  1. Read the script and the cast. Cut anything you do not want.
  2. Choose Film, TV Series or Short Drama, 16:9 or 9:16, a look and the dialogue language in Step 1.
  3. Approve the character and place drawings; the first 15 setup images are free.
  4. Read the storyboard; the first episode's storyboard on your first drama is free.
  5. Render the segments and join them at 1 credit a second.

What a prompt cannot do

A prompt will not fix a weak idea, and it will not hold a two-hour plot: past a few thousand words the draft is better built from your own script. It also will not use a real person's face or a famous character; those are refused. If you already have a script or a book, start there: script to movie · book to movie · text to movie.

In SceneMixer vs. stitching tools together

Most AI drama workflows are five or six tools in a row. This is where each step happens here, and what it replaces.

StepIn SceneMixerDoing it by hand with separate tools
Script and episode planPaste a script or a novel, or type one line: it is read into a cast, locations, props and an episode outline you can editA chat model writes the script; you split it into episodes and carry the text from tool to tool
Character faces and placesEvery character, location and prop is drawn once as a reference sheet and attached to every shot it appears inAn image model, one sheet at a time; you upload the right reference to every clip yourself
ShotsA storyboard per episode with numbered shots and seconds; video is generated segment by segment in 9:16 or 16:9 against the same sheetsA video model, one clip per prompt, describing the same people again each time
Voices and dialogueLines are performed in the video itself, one voice per character, in any of 15 languagesA text-to-speech tool for each line, then a lip-sync pass on every clip
Fixing one shotEdit that shot's text and regenerate the segment alone; the rest of the episode is untouchedRegenerate the clip, then re-cut the timeline

How much does the movie cost?

Video is 10 credits a second on the default tier plus 1 credit a second to join; the price is shown before you start.

Can I change what the AI wrote?

Yes. Every line of the script and every shot of the storyboard is editable.

Do the characters talk?

Yes, in any of 15 languages, one voice per character.

Can I make it vertical?
