Text to Movie

Quick answer: Text-to-video tools turn a prompt into one clip. Text to movie needs more: a script, characters who come back, places that stay put. In SceneMixer you type a line or a paragraph, AI Create writes a script at the length you pick (Mini to Long), the read turns it into a cast and episodes, and each episode is storyboarded and rendered. Video is 10 credits a second on the default tier.

From text length to film length

AI Create offers five script lengths, counted in Chinese-equivalent characters (English uses more letters for the same story, and the price already allows for it). The read then splits the script into episodes of a minute or two each:

Length optionScript sizeWhat it usually becomes
Mini1,000One scene: a test
Brief2,500One short episode or two
Short5,000A handful of episodes: the usual first choice
Medium10,000A short season
Long20,000A full series

More text means more episodes rather than longer ones. Options too long to read afterwards are hidden from the menu. Choosing script length and cost.

Write a better line

The brief matters more than the length: a person, a want, an obstacle and a turn. Inspire Me suggests one if you have nothing. Then read the script it writes and change what you do not like before the read. Writing the one-line brief.

Settings before the read

Type (Short Drama, TV Series or Film), aspect, visual style, region and dialogue language are set in step 1 and fixed after the read. Film type gives slower, quieter pacing. Style, region and dialogue.

Costs, in order

Writing the script and reading it are priced by length and shown on their buttons. Your first drama's setup images (15) and first storyboard are free. Video is the main cost, per second at the tier's rate, plus 1 credit a second to join an episode.

Every series below was produced by the same pipeline with the cast speaking that language natively: the interface, the working documents and the spoken lines are all in one language, and nothing is dubbed. Open one to hear it.

In SceneMixer vs. stitching tools together

Most AI drama workflows are five or six tools in a row. This is where each step happens here, and what it replaces.

StepIn SceneMixerDoing it by hand with separate tools
Script and episode planPaste a script or a novel, or type one line: it is read into a cast, locations, props and an episode outline you can editA chat model writes the script; you split it into episodes and carry the text from tool to tool
Character faces and placesEvery character, location and prop is drawn once as a reference sheet and attached to every shot it appears inAn image model, one sheet at a time; you upload the right reference to every clip yourself
ShotsA storyboard per episode with numbered shots and seconds; video is generated segment by segment in 9:16 or 16:9 against the same sheetsA video model, one clip per prompt, describing the same people again each time
Voices and dialogueLines are performed in the video itself, one voice per character, in any of 15 languagesA text-to-speech tool for each line, then a lip-sync pass on every clip
Fixing one shotEdit that shot's text and regenerate the segment alone; the rest of the episode is untouchedRegenerate the clip, then re-cut the timeline
FinishingSegments are composited into one episode file with its score; members download without the AI badgeA video editor to join the clips, add music and captions, then export
PublishingYou upload the finished episode to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or anywhere else; nothing is posted for youUpload by hand, the same as here

Can you make money with AI dramas on TikTok and YouTube?

Yes, within each platform's rules, and the rules are about the account and the video, not about how the video was made. TikTok's Creator Rewards Program (checked November 2, 2026) is open to personal accounts aged 18+ in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil with at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days; a rewarded video must be original, longer than one minute and reach 1,000 views on the For You feed. YouTube's Partner Program needs 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days.

Both platforms require realistic AI-generated content to be labelled, and YouTube states that disclosing AI use alone does not limit a video's audience or its eligibility to earn. SceneMixer episodes are longer than a minute by design, carry an AI badge by default (members can switch it off and add the platform's own label instead), and are yours to publish. FAQ

Can AI make a movie from text?

Yes. A line or paragraph becomes a script, a cast and episodes, rendered shot by shot.

How much text do I need?

One line is enough for AI Create; for your own text, at least a paragraph.

How long will the movie be?

It depends on the script length you pick; more text gives more episodes of a minute or two each.

Can I edit the script before it is made?

Yes. Read and edit the written script, then each shot in the storyboard.

Is text-to-movie the same as text-to-video?

No. Text-to-video makes one clip; text to movie keeps a cast and places across many shots and episodes.

What does it cost?

Writing and reading are small and shown on their buttons; video is charged per second.

Is SceneMixer like ReelShort or DramaBox?

No. ReelShort and DramaBox are apps for watching short dramas. SceneMixer is for making them: it turns your script or novel into episodes with a consistent cast and spoken dialogue, and you publish the episodes wherever you like, including those platforms' creator programmes where they exist.
