Which photos work covers the general rules; this page is the place case.
Anything the customer walks into: a shop, a café (see restaurants), a salon, a gym, a clinic, a hotel, an office, a house or a flat for sale or rent. The reading files it as store / property. If the photo is ambiguous — a product on a shelf inside your shop — the one line settles it: write our shop and it is a place, not a product.
First: the frontage with the sign, straight on, in daylight; or, for a property, the best room. Then up to three more: the interior from the door, a second room, a detail. Customers, staff, the family who lives there: all fine — the composer says People will be removed, and they are, while the room stays exactly as it is.

Products are cleaned onto a white background so the ad can put them anywhere. A place cannot be treated that way: cut out, a shopfront loses its sign, a room loses its depth and scale. So the photo is kept and used as the first scene the ad happens in; the ad’s people are generated into it. That is why the redraw button is not offered for the main image.
Your place, with life in it: the door opening, someone browsing, a haircut in the chair, a couple standing in the living room deciding. Extra photos become the rooms the shots move through. The second-photo rule: for places, every photo you add becomes a set, so a shop, its interior and its fitting room can all appear.
A day in the life: people using the place. Warm: a neighbourhood shop, a family salon. Minimal: a design store, a high-end property. Show how it works: a gym class, a service with steps. Epic: a hotel with a view. Thirty seconds for a place; sixty for a property tour with more rooms.
A family barbershop on the corner of Elm Street, walk-ins welcome; a two-bedroom flat by the park, ready to move in. The name and the offer go here so the end card has them. Keep it to what is visibly true; superlatives are removed.
The sign is read and printed as the brand. If the brand and the product name are the same — a shop named after itself — one line is printed. Add a call to action: Visit us, Book an appointment, Arrange a viewing. The name reaches the viewer here, not on the shots. The end card.

Yes. A place photo is kept and used as the set; only the people are removed.
Fine. People are removed and the room stays; the ad's own cast is generated into it.
Cutting a place out would lose its sign, depth and scale. Places are kept as shot.
Yes. For places, every photo you add becomes a set the shots can move through, up to four.
On the end card, printed from the sign. Generated video does not write legible text, so the shots are not where the name is delivered.
