An AI ad for skincare and beauty

Quick answer: Photograph the bottle, jar or tube front on, label readable, in even light, and the reading files it as beauty: the product is cleaned into a studio shot and the ad shows it in use on a generated face or hand: a pump, a drop on a fingertip, a routine at a bathroom mirror, a morning in daylight. Pick Show how it works for a routine, A day in the life for a mood, Minimal for a brand with a look. Say what the product is and who it is for; before-and-after promises and medical words are removed from the script, because the ad can show a texture and a routine but cannot prove a result. Which photos work covers the general rules; this page is the skincare and beauty case.

One line for the box next to the upload: A fragrance-free night cream with squalane, in a glass jar; for people with dry skin who want one step before bed.

The photo

  • The product alone, front on, label readable, in even light. The brand name is transcribed from the label exactly as printed, so make it legible.
  • Extra photos: the texture (a swatch on paper or the back of a hand), the open jar, the box. A photo with a real face in it is fine for a brand shot, but the face is removed; the product is what is read.
  • Sets: up to four photos of one product. A routine of three products is three ads, or one 60-second ad with one product per segment and a line that names them in order.

Whose face

Beauty is sold on faces, and the faces here are generated to fit the buyer in your line: dry skin in winter gets a woman at a frosted window, a men's moisturiser gets a man shaving at six. You do not supply a model, and a real face in your photo does not survive the read. If the product is for a specific skin tone, age or hair type, say so in the line and the cast follows. Describing a face.

What the ad shows

Texture and routine, not results. A pump pressed, a drop spreading on a fingertip, a swatch pulled across the back of a hand, the jar set down on a shelf, a face in morning light. Close-ups of the texture come from your swatch photo. Avoid asking for a split-screen before and after: it cannot be shown honestly and the claim would be removed anyway.

Make it in SceneMixer, start to finish

  1. Photos: open the Ad Video tab and upload one to four photos of the same subject. The read is free and tells you what it saw: category, product name, any brand name legible on the label.
  2. One line: say what it is and who it is for. When the line and the photo disagree, the line wins.
  3. Pickers: vibe, length (15, 30 or 60 seconds), portrait or landscape, 480P / 720P / 1080P. The price beside the quality is the ceiling you will pay.
  4. Make my ad: the script, cast, locations and storyboard are written, every segment is generated with its sound, and the end card carries your brand, product name, tagline and call to action.
  5. Fix, then export: a shot that missed can be regenerated alone; the end card text can be edited and the cut rebuilt without reshooting. The ad progress page.
