How to make an AI zombie apocalypse drama

Brief for AI Create: A zombie apocalypse drama: a nurse who hid her own bite gets the last place in a walled settlement; the settlement's leader is her ex-husband, and he is the only one who knows the outbreak started in his lab; 12 short episodes, each ends with someone at the gate.
Build the world in Step 1
| Stage of the outbreak | Scene Style | Costume Style |
|---|---|---|
| Day one, the city falls | New York Metropolis or Neon Nights | Smart Casual, Professional Uniforms |
| Months later, the ruins | Wasteland | Wasteland Scavenge |
| The settlement or the base | Military Base | Modern Military or Outdoor Gear |
| Small-town outbreak | American Small Town | Soft Everyday |
| The quarantine ward | Hospital Ward | Professional Uniforms |
The styles are written into every description when the script is read, so pick them first. Every scene and costume style.
Infection is a state, not a sentence
A model copies the face it is given. If a character turns, the grey skin and the clouded eyes need their own picture: open the character in Step 2 and add a state (“infected”) next to the main sheet, then pick that state in the segments after the turn. Torn clothes after a fight are a state too. Dirt, rain and who is holding the gun are words in the shot. Costume changes and states.
Hordes are background: write a crowd of the infected shuffling between burnt-out cars in the shot and keep the named characters in front. Background people in a scene.
Fear without gore
Graphic injuries and extreme violence are blocked by content review, and a blocked attempt costs you time. Zombie fear does not need them. Show the moment before and the moment after: a hand on a door that will not hold, the sound of glass, a survivor checking her own arm in a mirror. Fights, crowds and group scenes · Content rules.
| Beat | Shot to adapt |
|---|---|
| The gate | [Shot 1] 4s: Wide shot, night. A chain-link gate under one floodlight; beyond it, shapes moving between wrecked cars. @Mara stands inside with a rifle lowered. |
| The sound | [Shot 2] 3s: Close-up on the padlock as the gate shudders once. |
| The secret | [Shot 3] 3s: Close-up on @Mara pulling her sleeve down over a bandage on her forearm. |
| The line | [Shot 4] 4s: Medium shot on @Elias at the watchtower. @Elias (quiet): Nobody comes in after dark. Nobody. (voice: Elias) |
Story shapes that work
- The hidden bite: one character is infected and nobody knows; every episode the circle of people who know grows by one.
- The safe zone: the walls are not the danger, the people who run them are.
- The road trip: a family crosses a country, one town per episode.
- The cure: a scientist, a sample and three groups who want it.
- Romance in the ruins: two rival survivors forced to share a car.
Hooks and cliffhangers · Horror shorts.

FAQ
How do I make a zombie apocalypse drama with AI?
Pick a scene style such as Wasteland and a costume style such as Wasteland Scavenge in Step 1, write or generate the script, make each infected character a separate state in Step 2, and render episode by episode.
How do I show a character turning into a zombie?
Add a state to that character in Step 2 with the changed face and clothes, and pick it in every segment after the turn. Words alone will not change a face the model has a picture of.
Can I show bites and gore?
No. Graphic injury is blocked by content review. Cut away before the bite and come back to the aftermath, a bandage, a fever, a closed door.
How do I film a horde?
Write the horde as background people in the shot and keep two or three named characters in front of it.
Which visual style suits a zombie drama?
Digital HD or Shot on Film for live action, Black & White Film for a bleak look, or Game Engine Realism for a video-game feel.
Should it be vertical or landscape?
9:16 Portrait for a short-drama feed, 16:9 Landscape for a YouTube series or a film.
Can the survivors keep the same faces for twelve episodes?
Yes. Each character is drawn once in Step 2 and that sheet is used in every shot, including their states.
Can I name a famous zombie show?
Do not. Names and iconic looks from existing films and shows trigger the IP check. Invent your own outbreak.
