Timeline Cards: Every Icon and What It Means

Quick answer: Every segment of the episode is a card on the bottom timeline, in order. Each card shows a thumbnail once there is video, the segment’s length in seconds, a status (Pending, Generating, Done, Failed), and the price the generate button would charge — or Free. A card that says over cap is longer than the selected tier allows. Click a card to select the segment; its menu holds Insert segment after and Delete segment. At the end of the row: Composite Episode.

Thumbnail and number

The card’s number is the segment’s place in the episode; it shifts when you insert or delete. The thumbnail is a frame from the active version of the segment’s video; a card without video shows no thumbnail.

The episode timeline: every segment as a card with its thumbnail and duration
Thumbnail, length, status, price: every card tells you where that segment stands.

Seconds

The segment’s length: the sum of its shots. Change the shots and the number changes. Shot seconds.

Status

Pending: no video yet. Waiting: behind your other jobs. Generating: running, with the usual time in the preview pane. Done: video delivered. Failed: read the message in the preview pane. Every status.

The price tag, and Free

What generating this segment would cost right now: its seconds times the selected tier’s per-second rate. Change tier and every tag changes. Free means this segment is covered by a free allowance. Tiers.

over cap

The segment is longer than the selected tier allows; generating is refused until you shorten it, split it, or pick a tier with a higher cap. Segment length.

Versions

A segment that has been generated more than once shows how many versions it has. Open Version History in the preview pane to switch; the thumbnail follows the active one. Versions.

The card menu

Insert segment after adds a blank segment behind this one. Delete segment removes it with its video and versions, after a confirmation; it is refused while the video generates and on the last segment. Inserting and deleting.

No Stop on a clip

A segment that is generating has no Stop: the clip runs to the end and lands as a new version, which you can keep or ignore. What can be stopped.

The end of the row

Composite Episode, available when every card is Done; until then its tooltip counts the remaining segments. Composite History lists the files you have made. Compositing.
