Open the membership page after paying for a year: the current period shows this month’s grant and the date of the next one; the expiry shown is a year out.
On the day you pay: this month’s allowance (700 for Pro, 2,000 for Studio, 5,000 for Enterprise) and, on a first subscription, the one-time bonus counted on the whole term. Every month after that, on the same calendar day, the next allowance. The membership page shows which month you are in and when the next grant is due. What each tier includes: Membership Tiers Explained.

The concurrent-task limit, the badge switch and every other benefit apply continuously from payment to the end of the term; nothing switches off between monthly grants. The expiry date is the end of the whole term, not of the current month. The plan is not renewed automatically unless you subscribed by card or PayPal; check the membership page for the renewal state.
Upgrading to a higher tier starts the higher tier now and grants the difference for the remainder of the current month, in proportion to what is left of it; the remaining months of the term switch to the higher tier’s allowance. Details and confirmation: Upgrading Mid-Cycle.
A full refund cancels the months that have not started and reclaims everything the order has granted, including the sign-up bonus. A partial refund reclaims nothing automatically and puts the membership on hold until support reviews it. Credits bought separately are untouched. The rules: Refund Rules.
Credits granted by a plan sit in the same balance as purchased credits and do not expire when the plan ends. Spending order and other balance questions: Do Credits Expire?.
