A Vidnoz Alternative for AI Story Video
Updated November 2, 2026

A presenter in a template, or a cast in scenes
Vidnoz describes its workflow as four steps — choose a template and avatar, create the voiceover, add touches, generate2. Its Free plan lists 30 credits a day (about 60 seconds), videos up to 3 minutes and 720p export1. SceneMixer does not make a presenter-to-camera video; it makes a scene in which characters talk to each other.
At a glance

Models differ between platforms, so compare a test clip of your own scene, not only the price per second.
What a fixed cast looks like
Stay with Vidnoz if…
- You need a presenter speaking to camera — avatars with lip sync, from templates12.
- You make training or e-learning video — its Starter plan lists SCORM export1.
- You translate videos — Business lists video translation and voice cloning1.
- You want a free daily allowance to try it — 30 credits a day on the Free plan1.
SceneMixer fits if…
- You are telling a story in episodes. One read of the script returns the cast, locations, props and an episode-by-episode outline with an end-of-episode hook; each episode gets its own storyboard. Upload a script and read it.
- The same faces must hold from shot to shot. Reference sheets ride along with every segment, linked by id rather than by name. How consistency works.
- Your cast should speak a particular language. Pick it in step 1 and the lines are performed in that language as the shot renders — no dubbing pass. Native dialogue vs dubbing.
- You are adapting one story for a market. The target region adapts names, casting and scenery for Western, East Asian, Southeast Asian or Latin American audiences. Relocate a story by region.
- You would rather pay as you go. Packs start at $1.49 and plan credits stay in your balance. Do credits expire?
- Your story needs scenes, not a presenter. Characters act, move and speak to each other in locations drawn for the story. AI video with talking characters.
Where Vidnoz lands in SceneMixer
| In Vidnoz | Closest step in SceneMixer |
|---|---|
| Avatar | A character sheet, drawn once; the character acts in the shot rather than speaking to camera. Regenerate or replace one sheet |
| Video template | The project type in step 1 — Short Drama, TV Series or Film — and a script read into an episode outline. Upload a script and read it |
| Voice cloning | A voice per character chosen from a library. Pick character voices |
| Video translation | The dialogue language is set once in step 1 and the lines are performed in it. Choose the dialogue language |
Moving a story over
- Bring the script — paste it or upload .txt, .docx or .md; a presenter script can become dialogue lines in a scene.
- Set the project in step 1: Type (Short Drama, TV Series or Film), aspect ratio, dialogue language and target region.
- Reuse character art you own. On a paid plan, upload it in place of a generated sheet; otherwise generate sheets — the first 15 on an account are free.
- Draft cheaply, finish the keepers. Generate at the lowest tier, then regenerate only the segments that will be seen most at a higher resolution. Draft at 480P, finish at 1080P.
