Uploading a Script and Parsing It

Quick answer: On the home page, Upload Script tab: paste the text or Upload File (TXT, DOCX or Markdown). The button reads Get Started ✦ N, the read price for that length, 4 credits per 1,000 characters. Press it; the project opens at step 1, Set Up Your Project: name it, pick the three styles (or Let AI choose), the aspect ratio and, if you like, a target region and dialogue language, then Next. Reading the script runs for a few minutes through its stages; when Script Parsed appears, the summary, the episode list and the cast are on screen and Next takes you to step 2.

Paste or upload

Paste directly into the box, or Upload File: TXT, DOCX and Markdown are read; the note under the box reminds you to hold the rights. A novel chapter, a screenplay, a treatment — any prose or script works; the read splits it into episodes itself. The character count and the price update as you type. A text longer than the limit is refused with a message before anything is charged.

The price on the button

Get Started ✦ N. The read is priced by length: 4 credits per 1,000 characters, where 3,333 characters of an alphabetic language count as 1,000. That is the whole first step; sheets and storyboards are priced later, and the first drama’s sheets and first storyboard are free. Where credits go.

Step 1: Set Up Your Project

Project Name (a name is suggested after the read if you leave it blank). Visual Style, Scene Style, Costume Style: pick from the cards, or press Next with some unset and answer Let AI choose the remaining styles? with Let AI choose. The visual style cannot be changed once you continue — it shapes every sheet and video. Aspect Ratio: 16:9 or 9:16. Target Region and dialogue language if the story should move or speak another language. The settings.

Reading the script

Next saves the settings and starts the read. The card shows Reading the script with stages — Finding characters, Finding scenes, Finding props, Splitting episodes, Shaping visual style, Preparing episodes — and counts as they come in. You can browse elsewhere; the corner capsule keeps the progress and you move on automatically when it is done. A long script takes longer and may prepare later episodes in the background while you work on the first. While it reads.

Script Parsed

Script Parsed — AI has finished reading the script. On screen: the title, the protagonist, the era, the adaptation strategy, the episode list with Show more, and the counts of characters, scenes and items. Read the summary; if the split is wrong, this is the moment to fix the text and read again. Checking the summary. Next goes to step 2, where the cast has descriptions and no images yet.

If it fails

Parsing failed. Credits have been refunded. Please try again: the read did not complete and nothing was charged. Press Next again. A text that is not a story — a table, a list — can fail repeatedly; give it prose.

FAQ

What files can I upload?

What does the read cost?

By length: the rate per 1,000 characters is on the button before you press it.

Can I change the visual style later?

No. It shapes every sheet and video, so it is fixed once you continue. Scene and costume styles apply at the read too.

Can I leave while it reads?

Yes. The corner capsule keeps the progress and the project moves on by itself.

The read failed. Was I charged?

No. The message says the credits were refunded. Press Next again.
