Cheapest way to see what it does: a short clip made on Wan 3.0 · 480P, and a Time of day change to Night — 20 credits per second of clip.
There is no free-text box, on purpose: these are the changes that come out reliably. A change the menu does not offer is a job for the storyboard and a regeneration.
The clip is made again with your clip as the starting point, so how it was shot carries over: the framing, the camera, where each person stands, the movements, the timing and the spoken lines. Under the button the panel says it plainly: Can’t change framing, camera or where people stand. It also cannot remove a duplicated person, clean up garbled text in the picture, or stop a crowd that walks in half-way. For those, edit the shot and regenerate. When a shot comes out wrong.
Like any generation, the result can differ from your clip in small details. Watch it before you composite; if you prefer the old one, switch back in Version History.
AI visuals is charged at 2× the per-second price of the tier the clip was made on, for every second of the clip (rounded up to a whole second; at least two seconds). The reason for the multiple: the edit reads your clip in full and produces a new one, and both are paid for. Clips made on the two MiniMax H3 tiers are edited on Wan 3.0 · 480P and priced there. There are no free edits; the credits are held when you press and refunded if the edit fails. All fix prices.
A new version labelled AI edit in Version History. It becomes active when it lands if the clip you edited is still the one showing. A segment keeps one AI-edited version: a second AI visuals edit replaces the first. The generated clip it was made from stays. How versions are kept.
Not while the segment or the episode’s storyboard is generating, and not while another AI visuals or Redub change to the same clip is running. A few clips made by an earlier version of the site must be regenerated first. An edit blocked by content review is refunded and counts toward the same pause as a blocked generation. Every message.

No. AI visuals only offers its eight changes. To change something else, edit the storyboard and regenerate the segment, or edit the text with AI edit and regenerate.
The lines and the timing follow your clip. To change what is said, use Redub.
It processes your existing clip and produces a new one of the same length; both halves of that work are charged.
No, one change per edit. Run a second edit on the result; each is charged, and the newer AI-edited version replaces the older one.
Yes: on the same tier, regenerating costs half as much. But it rolls the dice on the whole clip again; AI visuals is worth it when you want to keep everything else exactly as it is.
Pick one of eight changes, see the price on the button, keep the original either way.
