Click a starter, change the shot number to the shot you mean, then finish the sentence. Be concrete: what, where, how.
Starts: Change the line in shot 1 to:. Finish with the new words, or with how the line should change. Good: “Change the line in shot 2 to: ‘You kept the key. Of course you did.’” or “…make her line in shot 2 colder and shorter”. Keep an eye on length: the review warns you when a line looks too long for its shot.
Starts: In shot 1, change the action to:. Describe what the person does, physically. Good: “In shot 3, change the action to: he tears the letter in half and drops it”. It changes the words of the shot, not its length.
Starts: Change the mood of this segment to:. Name the feeling and, if you can, how it shows. Good: “…tense and quiet: short lines, nobody raises their voice”. It adjusts the lines, the performance notes and the actions across the segment.
Starts: Change the time and weather to:. Good: “…late night, heavy rain”. It updates the header’s time and weather and the descriptions that depend on them. For a whole scene, change each of its segments so they match. For a clip that is already made, AI visuals can change the time or weather on the video itself. Day to night on a finished clip.
Starts: Change the camera in shot 1 to:. Good: “…a close-up on her hands, then the face” or “…a wide shot from the doorway”. This is the way to change framing and angle — things the video fixes cannot do — followed by a regeneration.
Starts: Keep this person out of the segment:. Finish with the name. The shots are rewritten without them. If they speak, their lines go too — and one revision may add or drop at most two lines of dialogue, so for someone who talks a lot, remove them in steps or by hand. Good for a character who crept into a scene they should not be in.
Starts: In shot 1, add a voice-over line that says:. Finish with the words, and say whose voice if it matters: “…in Mara’s voice: ‘I should have left then.’”. A voice-over is heard, not spoken on screen. If you do not say who speaks, AI edit gives the line to someone already in the segment; if it ever names someone who was not, the review points that out. Lines, voice-over and captions.
Starts: Move this segment to this location:. Finish with a location from your project, or describe a new one. A location that is not in your project is written as plain text, without a location image; for a consistent look across segments, add it to the asset library and generate its image. Add a location to this episode.
