1-Minute AI Video Generator

Brief for AI Create: A 60-second short: a night-shift nurse finds a child's drawing of her own face in a stranger's locker; two shots in a corridor, one in the car park, no narration, one line at the end.

What a minute is made of
| You want | Segments | Shots inside | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 seconds | 1 | 3–5 | An ad, a hook, a Reel |
| 30 seconds | 1 long take or 2 standard | 6–10 | An ad, a TikTok, a teaser |
| 60 seconds | 2 long takes or 4 standard | 12–20 | Shorts (up to 3 minutes), Reels, a one-minute episode |
A shot is a few seconds; a segment is one generation and the unit you pay for; the episode is the file you download. For a minute you choose the segment length per episode, and the storyboard writes the shots to fit. 15 or 30 second segments · Shot seconds and timing.

What a minute costs, and what is free
Video is charged by the finished second: 10 credits a second on the default tier, about $0.06 a second at the lowest credit price, so a 60-second episode is sixty times that plus 1 credit a second to join it. Reading a script is 4 credits per 1,000 characters; the first 15 setup images on an account are free, as is the first episode's storyboard on your first drama and a preview of about 5 seconds. New accounts start with 50 credits. An ad is quoted as one all-in figure before it starts. Where credits go in one episode · The ad price is a cap.
Why a minute is still a story
A minute is long enough for a setup, a turn and a last look, and short enough that one weak shot shows. Three habits help. Write one action per shot (a run, a glance, a line), not a paragraph. Put the hook in the first shot, because that is all a feed shows before the scroll. End on a question if there is a next episode, and on a still if there is not. Hooks and cliffhangers · How to write one shot.
Dialogue is performed in the video itself, in the language you set in Step 1, so a 60-second piece can carry four to eight spoken lines without a dubbing pass. AI video generator with dialogue.
Vertical or landscape
Choose 9:16 Portrait in Step 1 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and every sheet, plate and shot is composed tall from the start; 16:9 Landscape for YouTube, a website or a screen. The format is fixed once the script is read, so decide where the minute will live before you start. Vertical AI video generator · Vertical or landscape.
Other lengths: 3 to 5 minutes: one episode · 10 minutes and beyond: a series.

In SceneMixer vs. stitching tools together
Most AI drama workflows are five or six tools in a row. This is where each step happens here, and what it replaces.
| Step | In SceneMixer | Doing it by hand with separate tools |
|---|---|---|
| Script and episode plan | Paste a script or a novel, or type one line: it is read into a cast, locations, props and an episode outline you can edit | A chat model writes the script; you split it into episodes and carry the text from tool to tool |
| Character faces and places | Every character, location and prop is drawn once as a reference sheet and attached to every shot it appears in | An image model, one sheet at a time; you upload the right reference to every clip yourself |
| Shots | A storyboard per episode with numbered shots and seconds; video is generated segment by segment in 9:16 or 16:9 against the same sheets | A video model, one clip per prompt, describing the same people again each time |
| Voices and dialogue | Lines are performed in the video itself, one voice per character, in any of 15 languages | A text-to-speech tool for each line, then a lip-sync pass on every clip |
| Fixing one shot | Edit that shot's text and regenerate the segment alone; the rest of the episode is untouched | Regenerate the clip, then re-cut the timeline |
| Finishing | Segments are composited into one episode file with its score; members download without the AI badge | A video editor to join the clips, add music and captions, then export |
| Publishing | You upload the finished episode to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or anywhere else; nothing is posted for you | Upload by hand, the same as here |
Can you make money with AI dramas on TikTok and YouTube?
Yes, within each platform's rules, and the rules are about the account and the video, not about how the video was made. TikTok's Creator Rewards Program (checked November 2, 2026) is open to personal accounts aged 18+ in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil with at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days; a rewarded video must be original, longer than one minute and reach 1,000 views on the For You feed. YouTube's Partner Program needs 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days.
Both platforms require realistic AI-generated content to be labelled, and YouTube states that disclosing AI use alone does not limit a video's audience or its eligibility to earn. SceneMixer episodes are longer than a minute by design, carry an AI badge by default (members can switch it off and add the platform's own label instead), and are yours to publish. FAQ
How do I make a 1-minute AI video?
Write or paste a short script, choose the format in Step 1, generate the cast, read the storyboard, then render two long-take segments or four standard ones and join them.
Can it make a 30-second video?
Yes: one long-take segment, or two standard ones, joined. Ads come in 15, 30 and 60 seconds.
How long does a minute take to generate?
Each segment renders on its own and you can queue them together; a minute is usually ready in minutes, longer on busy tiers.
Is there dialogue?
Yes. Lines are spoken in the generation, in the language set in Step 1, with a voice per character.
What does 60 seconds cost?
Sixty seconds at 10 credits a second on the default tier plus the join, before any retakes; at the lowest credit price that is sixty times $0.06 for the video alone.
Can I make it vertical for TikTok?
Yes. Choose 9:16 Portrait in Step 1; the whole project is composed tall.
Is the first one free?
The first setup images, the first episode's storyboard and a short preview are free; the minute of video itself is paid.
Can I add subtitles?
Yes, on accounts that have made a purchase. Captions are added after export, not drawn into the picture.
Is SceneMixer like ReelShort or DramaBox?
No. ReelShort and DramaBox are apps for watching short dramas. SceneMixer is for making them: it turns your script or novel into episodes with a consistent cast and spoken dialogue, and you publish the episodes wherever you like, including those platforms' creator programmes where they exist.
