SceneMixer — AI Short Drama Generator: From Script to Series

From Script to Cinema

Bring your script or novel. AI builds the cast, the world, and every shot. SceneMixer is an AI short drama generator that turns novels and scripts into serialized vertical drama — character sheets, scene art, storyboards, per-segment video generation and full-episode compositing, with characters that stay consistent across episodes.

  • AI script analysis — characters, scenes, props, and episode structure from one upload
  • Consistent character & scene reference art in your chosen style and aspect ratio
  • Storyboard scripts and vertical (9:16) or landscape (16:9) video generation
  • Credit-based pricing: 50 free credits on sign-up, first drama: 15 concept sheets + first storyboard free, up to 15% top-up bonus, memberships from $7.99/month across 5 paid tiers
  • Example: a 30,000-character novel → 10 episodes × 90 seconds ≈ 10,026 credits — only about $62 on our top membership tier; other plans may cost more.
  • Three steps: upload a script or let AI write one → parse characters, sets and episodes with reference art → generate shot by shot and composite the episode
  • World Model: every scene gets a world first — a 360° view of the set, the furniture measured in it, a place for everyone — then every camera is placed inside it, so cuts keep their geography
  • Characters stay consistent across episodes: every clip is generated against the reference sheets; video is billed per second, and regenerating a single segment costs only that segment
  • 28 complete sample series to watch online, each generated straight from a script with every segment's script and video
  • 15 languages: the interface in 15 languages, and the cast's spoken dialogue can be set to any of them per project — pick the language your audience speaks

Sample series with native dialogue, one per language: Português · 한국어 · Español · 日本語 · Bahasa Indonesia · Русский · Français · Italiano · Nederlands · العربية · Türkçe · Deutsch · Українська · all 15 languages

Frequently asked questions

What is SceneMixer?

SceneMixer is an AI short drama generator. You bring a script, a novel or a one-line idea; it draws the cast and the scenes, writes a storyboard for each episode, generates every segment as video with spoken dialogue and joins the segments into finished episodes. The same characters carry through the whole series, in 9:16 vertical or 16:9 landscape, with dialogue in any of 15 languages.

Do I need to write a screenplay?

No. Paste a novel or a script, upload a TXT, DOCX or Markdown file, or type one idea and let SceneMixer's AI Create write the script first. You can also start from product photos to make an ad, or from a video clip you have the rights to remake.

Is SceneMixer free to try?

Yes. A new SceneMixer account starts with 50 free credits, 15 free reference sheets for characters, scenes and props, a free storyboard for the first episode of your first drama, and one free preview clip of up to 5 seconds rendered from your own cast. You can paste a script and see an estimated price before signing up; full video segments are paid.

How much does a whole drama cost?

SceneMixer bills in credits, and video is most of the bill: it is priced per second, from 10 credits a second on the cheapest video tier. A 90-second episode therefore comes to about 990 credits for its video and for joining the episode; reading the script and writing each storyboard add a little on top. Credits come in packs or with a monthly membership, and every button shows its price before you confirm.

How long is an episode, and how long does it take to make?

You decide the length. SceneMixer builds each episode from video segments of up to 30 seconds each, depending on the video model, with up to 60 segments per episode; short-drama episodes usually run 60–120 seconds. A segment typically renders in a few minutes, several render at the same time, and joining them into the finished episode takes a few minutes more.

Will characters stay consistent?

Yes. Before any video, SceneMixer draws a reference sheet for every character and scene; each segment is then generated against the sheets of the characters and places in it, so faces, outfits and locations hold from the first episode to the last. If a face drifts in one segment, regenerate just that segment.

Can I use my own photo for a character?

Yes. In step 2, open the character, scene or prop and choose Upload & Replace with a JPG or PNG; for a person, SceneMixer can turn the photo into a clean reference sheet that keeps the face and clothing. Uploading is a membership feature on the current plans. Use only photos you have the right to use, and for a real person, only with their consent.

Do the characters speak? In which languages?

Yes. SceneMixer generates the speech together with the picture, so each line is performed on screen rather than dubbed on afterwards. Every character keeps one voice from a preset library across all episodes (with a membership you can upload your own voice sample instead), and the dialogue language is a project setting: any of 15 languages, whatever language the script was written in.

What is the World Model? Does it cost extra?

For each scene of a new project, SceneMixer first builds a world: the set, its furniture measured and a place for every character. Each shot's camera is then placed inside it, so cuts keep the window on the same side and everyone in the same seat. It costs no extra credits. Not every set becomes a 360° room you can look around in, for example not on an account that has never paid.

Can I fix one shot without redoing the whole episode?

Yes. Every segment in SceneMixer renders on its own: rewrite its picture text or its lines and regenerate only that segment, paying for its seconds rather than the whole episode. Editing text is free, and earlier takes stay in the Version History.

Can I use the videos commercially? Is there a watermark?

Yes. Under SceneMixer's Terms you own the results to the extent the law allows, including for commercial use, as long as you hold the rights to your script and uploads. Videos from free accounts carry a small AI badge in one corner; new videos made with a membership come without it by default, and shared links always keep the badge.

Is SceneMixer an app for watching short dramas, like ReelShort?

No. ReelShort and DramaBox are apps for watching short dramas; SceneMixer is for making them. You bring the story, it produces the episodes, and you download the files to publish on TikTok, YouTube, Reels or any other platform yourself.

What aspect ratio and resolution is the output?

You choose when you create a SceneMixer project: 16:9 landscape by default, or 9:16 vertical for phone feeds. Scenes and video follow that ratio, while character sheets are always portrait. Resolution depends on the video model you pick, from 480P up to 2K.
