Ask SceneMixer: What the Help Window Answers, and When a Person Replies

Quick answer: Ask SceneMixer is the help window behind the speech-bubble icon in the top bar (on a phone, in the side menu and the corner button). It answers questions about using the site — what something costs, what a step does, why a button is grey — from these guides, and links the guide it used. It only knows SceneMixer and says so when it does not know. If it cannot help, Still not solved? → Send feedback hands the conversation to a person; and questions it could not answer may get an Official Reply under the bell.

Where to find it

On a computer, the speech-bubble icon in the top bar, next to the bell. On a phone, Help in the side menu, or the round button in the corner; in the episode editor the icon stays in the top bar. It is there once you are logged in. A red number on the icon means a reply to your feedback is waiting; clicking it opens your feedback history instead.

What it answers well

What things cost, how credits and plans work — prices are read live from the site, never guessed.
What each step, button and status means.
What to do about a message you just saw.
Where something is.

Each answer lists the guides it came from under From the guides, with Read the guide. Common questions are one tap at the start. If your interface is in another language, you get the answer and the guide titles in that language.

What it will not do

Answer anything outside SceneMixer: I only know SceneMixer — how it works, what it costs, what to do next.
Guess: when the guides do not cover something it says Our guides don’t spell this one out, and I’d rather not guess.
See or change your account, orders or projects. For those, send feedback. What support can see.

Please do not type personal or sensitive details into it.

Limits

A question can be up to 500 characters (That question is too long otherwise). A conversation holds a few rounds; after that it says That’s the end of this conversation. Start over to keep asking. — press Start over. There is an hourly and a daily limit per account: You’re asking a bit fast. Try again in N min. It is free to use.

When it does not solve it

After an answer that did not help, or after two answers, the window shows Still not solved? → Send feedback. The feedback form opens with your questions and the answers attached, so a person starts where the AI stopped. Replies arrive under the bell and in your feedback history. How to get help.

Official replies to questions it could not answer

Questions the AI could not answer are also read by the SceneMixer team, and some get a reply even if you did not send feedback. It arrives under the bell as Your question got a reply. Open it to see Your question quoted and the Official Reply below, in your interface language, with Still not solved? Tell us more to go straight to a person. The quote of your question disappears after 30 days, when the help conversation itself is deleted.

Yes.

No. It answers from the guides only. Send feedback for anything about your own account or project.

Is the conversation kept?
